For all of you people who don't know about this kind of stuff. Here's a summary.

One of the very best processor architectural designers is working for AMD now, he is changing a lot, which is good, and is fixing the FX series as a whole. By 2014 the Excavator will be out which has a whole new revolutionary architecture and combining the workload of the cpu and the integrated graphics/dedi graphics. So this CPU will be able to utilize your graphics out of games. So if you have a great GPU, it will help your CPU.

I held out for Bulldozer expecting greatness. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Good thing I don't need to wait again in case AMD decides to goof again, but I really hope they show up this time like I expected them to with Dozer.

Steamroller comes out in 2013, next year and it's supposed to be awesome.
"Steamroller is not Bulldozer Enhanced. F*** no. The layout might look the same but our LEGO blocks are completely different. When all is said and done we should get 45% improvement and this goes to show how the Bulldozer was f***** design. This is all what Bulldozer was supposed to be."

If AMD gets better than Intel, it's great. AMD has always had better prices, no matter what. If AMD out performs intel, Intel too will have to lower their prices, and then AMD will lower even more.

I'll believe it when I see it. AMD can go on all they want, until I see official benchmarks I'm not convinced.

If they don't compete, we're all the ones getting screwed. At certian price points there's always going to be one with the advantage, but AMD pulls ahead in very few right now.
