Here's my question, I'll be buying a hdd but it's bare drive which means it won't come with any cables, now my question is, what cables would I need to buy to connect it to the motherboard? I know it's a SATA cable but what should I know before buying one? Do I only need a SATA cable? or is there another cable I need to get, also any cable would work? or do I have to look for an specific cable?

All you'd need is a SATA data + power cable which is supplied with your PSU.

Like ^ he said, the power cable is attached onto your power supply. You should also get a spare SATA cable with your motherboard, often with the HDD.
