Nick-Shaggy wrote Well there is actually a chance of it happening in the year 2051 or something like that. NASA believe that an astroid has something like a 1/1000000 chance of hitting earth. Only a little chance, but what if it does?
If that happens I will be old and dont give 2 ***** if I die :trollin:

-Leet wrote It would've happened already, because silly mayans didn't have leap years. Don't post about this, you're scaring the 8 year-olds.

Leap years have nothing to do with how the Mayan Calender functions.

I hate repeating myself but It seems I have to.

The Mayan belief is that a new cycle starts. Their calender has ended 12 times already. The world hasn't ended. 'A New Cycle' doesn't mean the Earth is going to be cleansed and start again. It last ended on September 18 1618. The world didn't end. It won't on the 21st December.

According to the Mayans, the world won't end.
According to Science, the world won't end.
According to Religion, the world won't end.
So, according to common sense, the world won't end.

Until the Sun dies.
