As you may know there will probably be some leaked copies of Black Ops 2 before it comes out.(It has happened to most of the previous CoDs) What if I spend the extra $100 to get it early and show up to Gamestop at 11:30 or so at the midnight release and try to trade in the game...(I will make a video of it) Would I get in trouble or what?
UPDATE: I'm not guaranteeing i will do it but i just learned it IS LEGAL to guy or possess a game before street release... It is just frowned upon.

I don't think they would let you trade it in and they would probably ask you how you managed to gain a copy so early also they might ask why would you want to trade it in..
Or they might think you've stolen it and call the police

We all know that Activision every year "accidently" (sarcasm) has copies leaked out and you can get them off stuff like ebay or even craigslist. Even the employees at Gamestop know that.

yeah but if you go into the store and try to trade it in
considering that the game would of just came out, they're going to be suspicious surely?

Gamestop won't give you the game early.
If they did they could get into a lot of legal trouble.

I think you should do it.. i would love to see the video!
Just say you brought it from another game shop that opened 10 minutes earlier than they should have..
