Go to 112,80 on your map dig down to bed rock and dig out to 128,96 or more if you have the time. this should produce some for you. also be sure to kill of any mob spawns around you and wait at least 24 blocks away it can take up to 30 mins for them to pop.

layers 4 through 16 are the only layers capable of spawning slime although they like to slime relatively close to you within a sphere of 150 give or take, i prefer layers 12 through 16 because lava will not cave in on you tnt is best for clearing rooms but picks work fine, but before you make a room anywhere you need to fine a square where slimes are capable of spawning which is only 10% of a world your best bet is using the xray glitch a bunch of places shown here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
untill you find slime then clear a 35 by 35 room light it up brightly so mobs cant spawn then go do something and when you come back you got slimes
