i have a jasper jtag, cod4 is already loaded on it and default_mp works to launch the game, but i can't find any way to get infections to work... ive tried pasting patch_mp.ff a million times with a million different patches but nothing........can someone please help

A few questions, do you have the latesst title updates on your jtag (TU4)???
Do you have a PATCHED default mp xex????
Then start a system link, join with your retail, and bam infected!

how can i tell for sure if i have the latest title updates? and how can i tell if my mp xex is patched??

On your freestyle dashboard on your jtag, before you select your game press Y, and scroll down to manage title updates, and you can download title updates for your game. Your jtag must be connected to your router and to the internet for it to work though. Should take less than a minute to download all 4 title updates for COD4, then once you see all 4 have downloaded, select the top one TU4, now your retail and Jtag are both on the same TU4.
If you don't know if you have a patched default mp xex, then you don't, you need to download one. We cannot post a xex here, its against the rules.

Well it doesn't come with a PATCHED default mp xex, I had to download it from the internets
How are you playing cod4 then? Off a disc? USB?

we copied the game onto the hard drive of the jtag and we just click default_mp.xex in the COD4 folder and it starts the game with no disc
