Well my friend let me borrow his graphics card for a while until i buy one of my own. I got it to replace my terrible integrated graphics card. The question is, how can i get it to install. I put it in the PCI slot and its working because the fan is running, but would i need to plug my VGA cable into the card? The problem is that the VGA slot is alot bigger than the one on my monitor. To put it like this, mine is the small blue adapter and the one on the card is a big white one. I was wondering if i can just leave my VGA cord in the regular slot. If not, is there any sort of adaptor thing that will let me plug the small blue one on one end and have the bigger white adaptor at the other end and just go from there?

It's called a VGA to DVI adapter, you can get them for like $10.
