Not sure were the old rap went but here is MY list of best rappers/groups from 90's and before. Best rappers now days/ worst. Not in any order.

To me the ONLY good rappers today are Slim Shady (yes Shady from back in the day and not Eminem), Tech N9ne, and of course Hopsin. For Hopsin i'm happy to see he's getting bigger from when I first heard him. Also Tupac and Biggie are very overrated.

I wouldn't say Pac and Biggie were the best. They were good, but not the best in my opinion. At least you agree that most of todays rappers are poop. Especially Lil Waynes raspy voice.

I can't really decide who is the best rapper. Hopsin and Immortal Technique have meaningful songs, Slim Shady for his humerus/emotional songs, and Tech N9ne for not being a mainstream rapper rapping about the same bull.
