Should i tell my parents im an Atheist it may sound stupid but my parents aren't exactly involved with religion but my mom suggested i go to church on weekends i just don't know how to approach it help?

we haven't been to church in years, my mom brought it up at the dinner table a week or 2 ago that we need to start going to church again.

i laughed and said "Please Dont."

i believe god but im not a religous person. ive never been to a church service in my life. My mother actually thought about it the other day. I would tell them though but its completely up too you.
