I seem to get the same FPS when playing Mw2 at 1920x1080/Max Settings and playing at 800x600/low settings! Is there a reason it does this? Then when I play Mw3 there is a big fps boost when playing at max settings compared to playing at low settings.

Maybe because the coding is somewhat different than MW3. and plus MW2 is a older style game which means different operation styles.

well, it should give some what of an FPS boost. might not be alot of one though. I do know my old pc I went a bit lower than the settings you go to and it seemed to boost my FPS from 20 to 60.

You sure you haven't got your FPS capped to a certain number? It could be why.

Open the console and type /com_maxfps 91 and see if it makes any kind of difference.

My MW3 is capped is 60 which is fine, but my MW2 isn't capped and I need more fps for jumps

it could be something as there is not enough power going to your graphics card..this is especially more common when upgrading your graphics card because your power supply may not have enough power for it
