Scientists are trying so hard to solve world hunger, by 2050 we will need to have doubled our crops yield in order to feed our population. But why waste time and money finding ways to temporarily feed the world, when in the end we are going to have to lower the population anyway. We dont exactly have infinite space, food, water, schools, hospitals etc. Its easier to stop the population rise now before its too late, before we know it we have too many people then its a big war... in 2050 there will be 9.3 billion people if we carry on at this rate. Yes, if there are too many humans, nature will balance itself out (more wars, more death by starvation etc) but why waste human lives when we could just stop now? and we dont NEED that many people, think how good it would be at 4 billion people, (im not suggestion we lower it that much but just imagine) no homeless, and more property, more forests, more resources. Anyway, when do you think we should start this? We have to at some point...

Very Taboo subject to talk about no one wants to think about the long term. Also no one wants to think about killing off a portion of the population or restricting the amount of children you can have. As for me I agree with you we dont have a never ending supply of water or space, there for not just for just for us to survive but the survival for the human race depends on it. If not we will all die a horrid death of over population or starvation i guess we will decide our own downfall.

It was time a long time ago, lots of children don't even feel the need to learn in school, so it's pointless to keep making more of those children.

China has already began the child limitation enforcement. it's only a matter of time before the trend is spread.

They're discussing it about Africa, as they're in such a mess, they can't afford to be having children, as sadly they all pass away.

How do you propose we enforce these laws? Kill the illegal child? That is not humane. This situation reminds me about a book series i read awhile ago... i cannot remember the name though.

well most people abide by the laws these days so even if 1/4 of us did have illegal babies then our population would still be better than without the laws, also, after 1 baby i suspect the mother would have a quick cheap operation/injection so that she doesnt have any more babies, or if a mother has an illegal baby then she gets the injection, a max of 2 babies per family is still way better.
