Well I was considering a Beagle, but after talking to a friend who has owned dogs all her life, and now trains police dogs, service dogs, and so on, told me not to get a Beagle. She almost hit me when I told her I'd like to get a Beagle. She showed me a kind of dog that I'd never seen before, a German Shepherd / Labrador mix. My question to you TTG is have you ever owned one? If so please share anything that's essential for me to know about them. Everything stated will help, and if you've got links to any useful sites with tips for this specific breed could you please PM me them!

Thanks all,

Day.

Agreed, but not all german shepherd mixes show the german shepherd more than the other one. These are like labs with floppy ears, and the walk of the german shepherd.

They're beautiful dogs, I just want to know some essentials before getting one.

Thanks for your comment.

I own a Husy and a Airdeale terrier currently.

Huskys are great pets but you have to be very careful when taking them on walks. There instinct is to run away at the sign of freedom. But if you get a little puppy then you can raise him/ or her to not do this.

As for my airedale terrier he is an awesome dog! I also know that the father of my dog had won the dog show crufts 2 times which is pretty cool. The coolness of my dog is worth the money I payed haha 800
