There's so much emphasis on Photoshop for editing images, but, it's really expensive. I understand you can get it for free but that's a big hassle to go through sometimes. A while back, I ran across an image editing program known as "GIMP" (GNU Image Manipulation Program). It's free, takes up less space, and works very much like Photoshop. I haven't used Photoshop extensively, so I'm sure it's a little better than GIMP, but I'm sure there are certain ways to make up for it.

I was wondering why no one uses GIMP over Photoshop?
