Please do not 1v1 2v2 boost, you'll be quickly banned within 5 minutes even if theater recording is turned off. I learned this the hard way but lucklily I have a 13th prestige account. If you're going to boost, do Headshot boosting or Strafe Run boosting.

no? i have 1v1 boosted and 2v2 boosted plenty but didnt ever get banned or reset? you get banned AND reset for team tac boosting though

He's actually right you do get banned from 1v1 and 2v2 boosting. Trust me I know from personal experience.

Dude, that sucks... I had theater recording turned off and me and my mate were 1v1 boosting, 5 minutes later deranked. But this is the reason I have like 5 accounts.

i don't wanna sound stupid, but if you're 2v2 or 3v3 with friends,it's not boosting if you're actually playing, right?

Infinity Ward can tell whether you're boosting or not. All they have to do is check your score per minute, k/d ratio in recent games, but if you're just having fun and playing, no.
