No music is best, anyone who believes a genre is better than all other genres is an egotistical d**k believing their personal preference is superior. Everyone has their favourite genre, but that doesn't mean it is any better than others.

Personally my favourite genres are Melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal, examples are Amon Amartg, Opeth, Dream Theater etc.

Rap
Rock

All music is great to different people. Picking a "best" is completely personal preference. I think post hardcore is the best. Is it? No, its just personal opinion. Saying a genre is better than another is just ignorant
