You're sure the component/hdmi cable is plugged in correct?
Otherwise it is most likely a bad flash.

Yeah, just flash over a nand backup through xell.
If xell doesn't boot though, you're going to need a usb/lpt device to flash it back over, unfortunately.

Well to boot into xell just power the console on via the dvd eject button. If you flash via xell, just take a nand backup you have, rename it to updflash.bin and put it in the root of a flash drive.
But since you have a usb device soldered up you can just hook it up to your computer and flash over your backup that way.

No he's not screwed, but he's in a bad position.
You always need a backup for incase you run into these problems. You'll now have to use a donor nand to be able to fix it.

Okay if you lost your nand, you can recover it easily by using, XeLL, ethernet cable, and a usb.
1.Plug your ethernet to the back of your jtag/rgh
2.boot XeLL and wait for the ip adress to come up(should be close to the bottom so wait for everything to load.) (the ip should be something like: 192.168. .)
3. type that ip in a web browser(Google Chrome, internet exploer, etc.)
4.download the Raw file
5. save it to your desketop and rename it(Nanddump)
(when you rename it make sure you dont delete the .bin just rename the text before it.) No big deal if you accidently do though
6.Make a new folder called: Original Nand and put the nand dump in it..(KEEP THIS FOREVER or until u sell it so you wont have to do this again!!)
Any other questions regarding to anything related to your needed help, dont be hesitant to ask me
