Hi, iv made a youtube background, and i want to fade it out at the bottom. does anyone know how to? sounds simple but i dont know how to do it. thanks!

Many ways of doing this, Gradient tool would work.
select black and transperant and drag up.

Or use the brush tool.
make it rather big and black ,lol.
And just make a new layer and create the fade.
