You don't need Horizon, its just easier to do it that way.
You can always just download the file and Save it to your Flash drive that's plugged in.
The only problem with that though is that i'm not sure it will save to 'Demos' once plugged into your Xbox.
If you have other Programs like Modio you can also do it.
If you don't have or can't do any of the above, you can always try the other method.

when i play the demo and click the red banner i dont get any code, all thats there is japanese letters
