it can be two different reasons 1.it could be your xbox's disk drive (I believe this is the problem due to u getting different download percentages) 2.it may also be the iso u may have corrupted it via backup creator or iso2god.....How long have u had the xbox might i ask?

There is three major problems that I can identify. One of them might be causing you trouble.
One - What disc are you using? i.e (Verbatim or Memorex)
Memorex is known for issues while hotswaping. Verbatim is a better quality disc. Memorex works for some people, but not all.
Two - Your iso could be corrupted. Try downloading another one.
Three - Your burner might be producing some bad burns. Make sure Imgburn is set correctly. Speed at 2.4x. If it's your burner, buy a new one.

i have img burn and a memorex dual layer disc. yes i have it at 2.4 x speed all the time, i dont have a script mod. I just have the deadly fish mod with the map mods and such. And yeah i was responding to you notorious. this is the tutorial i used btw:

also when i try to play the game, its just stuck at the first loading screen where it tells you about deadly fish
