hi
today i got given a broken iphone 3gs.
here is the issue
when i press the power button not plugged in it comes up with the red batterie even though it had been on charge for 5 hours.
when plugged in it loads the apple logo then the skull and nothing els
itunes does not recognize it at all
please help me

You can use a mode called DFU. Search this on youtube: How to go into DFU mode
This should help you and then iTunes will recognize it. You will have to restore btw.
