Done proper but low shadow detail retention on the right which makes me afraid.

Throw something in back there and just make it dark so it isn't so flat.

Pieces like this always throw me off. Cause they show a lot skills but they look rather-with lack of a better word-unfinished. The lighting is magnificent, as for the depth all the commotion around the face kinda throws it off. The cluster of effects on the picture make the piece of work look rather messy. The "sharp" effect you are using, however, compliments the tag very much. I recommend working on the big cluster of effects around the face so you can achieve a level of greater excellence.
