Hey TTGscapers. I'm thinking about getting 99 farming because you don't see it very often and I am already level 83. My question is how many runes will I need to get there? I would be doing cure plant and fertile soil at livid farm. Each cast is 3 astrals and 2 nature for fertile soil and 1 astral for cure plant. I also need to do a total of 112k casts.

I will +rep someone who answers this because I don't think I got the correct answer.

if you need 112k casts then just times 112k by 3 for astrals and by two for natures.... which equals 336,000 astrals and 224,000 natures. but if your counting cure plant into the 112k. then you need to find out the ratio of how many cure plant spells you cast compared to how many fertile soil spells you cast then ratio the casts accordingly.

I figured it. It's a total of 112k casts which means half the casts will be with those nats which takes 2 nats making it 112k nats I would use. Then to figure the astrals it would be 4 x 112k which is 448k. So basically I'm looking at spending 80m. Fml.

Donations are appreciated

Just kidding. I will probably runecraft the runes since I can do x2 of each of them.

You're doing herbs right? So use herbs that you can profit from. Invest in getting the explorers ring 3/4 from lumby med/hard tasks. And the falador shield 3 for bonus herbs from the port sarim patch. You will make back your cash from 83-99 farming by doing herbs. It is slow. it will be tedious and not as easy as spending like 300m on magic trees like i did :/ probs a big mistake lol. But gl on you 99 and dont worry about the starting cash for it.
