Call of duty has turned into a huge piece of sh*t. CoD4 and WaW were good call of duty games because they were simple and people didnt play to be the best, people played those games to have fun. In cod4, the noob toobs were so underpowered that you didnt see many people using them, (like black ops). Back in CoD4's hayday (2007-2008) people didnt care about their K/Ds, people would jump off ledges to hit a bounce on a car. People even ran around no-scoping zzirGrizz style back in the day. People who play today just sit behind a car or in a corner all day to try to get their K/D over a 1.5.
Last Stand(having a pistol) >> Final Stand(Having your GUN and stand back up after 20 seconds!) >> Dead Mans Hand(C4 in last stand with a kill radius of 20 feet!)
Juggernaut(X2 Health) >> Painkiller(X3 Health!)
Martydom(CoD4) >> Martydom(MW2, Grenades roll toward enemies)
"Quick Scoping w/ SoH Pro or Quickdraw" you can now aim in instantly and its still called Quick Scoping?
Anti Air Support: Entire Clip of LMG >> Stinger >> Things that you set down and they will take it down for you!
Killstreaks: 3 Killstreaks >> ~10 Killstreaks >> close to 20 different killstreak options?
Noobtoobs: 2 noobtoobs >> UNLIMITED noobtoobs >> Secondary weapon which has and shoots ~12 noobtoobs
These are just a few of the things that have gotten worse and more annoying since MW2 came out. Most of you have probably played CoD4 before but only the true CoD Veterans can see how much call of duty has chanced, and in my opinion, for the worse. True Veterans of CoD4 either got 10th legit, 5+ Days played BEFORE MW2 came out, or they remember Michael Myres/Cops and Robbers/Border Patrol/Collateral Game on Showdown.

Agreed, but i thought MW2 was fun for the first two months, but after the Christmas noobs started using noobtoobs, it was over. i only liked the game because i was one of the first people 10th prestige (i was 10th 3 weeks after the game came out) and the rust glitch was tons of fun!

I still like it. I think it needs some changes, but it isn't a bad game/series.

I used to play CoD: WaW and CoD4 just for fun and so did everybody else. No when I play, it's not for fun anymore for everyone, a lot of people think it's their life and stay in all day long just to play that rubbish.

I'm not sure but, are you honestly ranting over a Stinger in one part?
And tenth after three weeks of a game coming out? I have a hard time buying that one. Even when people are "that good" at a game. I'm pretty decent and the most I've done was twice a week from double XP.

Some perks are just too overpowering in the newer cods
That old call of duty group is still there, but so many other people have started to flock to the game

I'm not exactly a COD 4 veteran but I started playing COD 4 when I was 11 (2008) and couldn't wait until MW2. I remember how excited I was mainly because I was also going to get XBOX LIVE for the first time. Technically, all my friends never played COD 4 they all started on live with WaW which I though sucked and never bought until 2010.
To be honest, I played COD4 and only COD4 for months straight and in my opinion, MW2 was better. COD4 had worse maps, less gun selection, worse camos (if it matters), no titles or emblems, too many easy exploits like the helicopter cheat where you can get a heli and then die send it out and then get another heli, if anything, COD4 was at it's best in '09 and '10 mainly because people were messing around and sniping instead of being douchebags and using M16 noobtubes.
All this coming from a guy who actually is better at COD4 than MW2. (2.1 K/D ratio vs. 1.5 K/D ratio, I snipe lol)
HATE THE PLAYER, NOT THE GAME.
This rant is about something everyone knows about too. We all hate noobtubes and hacks in-game (not offline I'm okay with that)

I'm not ranting on the stinger, I'm just saying how much easier it is to take down air support now than it was before. I love the stinger, i have about 4000 stinger kills, its my most used gun in MW3. And yes i was 10th prestige on MW2 before Christmas, its right after i got into transfer cable modding. In december of that year, there was a mod you could do yourself and get yourself 10th prestige in minutes. I never said it was legit

In case you didnt notice, Infinity Ward and Activision are lazy pieces of s**t. They ppretty much base everything off of the original game and add things that makke the game stupid. It always comes down to the originals
