Dude as a personal challenge do whatever you want as a log, let the inspiration take over you. If i like it i will use it (full credit) but practice is always sexi, and just another logo to add to your portfolio.

That is so ignorant.
You don't need CS6 to make good graphics, a few people at my firm still use CS4/3 simply because they like it more, I just recently went from 4 to 5 and there isn't much of a difference in what is and isn't possible.
That just makes me incredibly upset.
