It's actually going to reboot the franchise, it's just going to ruin the franchise as we know it today.

A little on Halo 3

Halo is my favorite game i own and played every halo its the reason i started gaming. Halo 3 was the greatest game to have ever been on xboxlive it has a great ranking system,Played great and was balanced unlike some games out there no other game could touch it call of duty 4 made its attempt to kill halo 3 but it just couldn't compete with such an amazing game. Halo 3 was a nice fair game with no bull crap like over powered "perks" or in halos case "armor abilities" i can remember watching MLG events and i found it so exiting but things have changed since then maybe to the point of return...


The mistake

When Bungie released halo reach i just couldn't take the game seriously. The game's ranking system is a joke i could be extremely good at the game but then im matched with a terrible teammate the game needed a true skill system the arena did nothing anyone could reach onyx. Also the graphics look cartoonie i honestly feel that halo 3 looked way better almost perfect. And the Bloom where did that come from? it wasn't necessary the game would have played perfectly without it. Halo Reach lacked on the competitive side as well i sat and watched at it became less popular in MLG events it just didn't play right its was hard to take the game seriously and more games like Call of Duty started to become more focused on and its the same game year after year and it still played out way better than Halo Reach ever could have because they keep the good quality's of Call of Duty when Bungie threw all Halos good quality's out the window and replaced them with ones that ruined the game.

If you disagree with me look at this Halo reach has been out for 2 years now it has a population of 30,000 - 20,000 a day. Halo 3 had a population that was still in the hundreds of thousands if no millions. Halo 3 held a strong population because the game was fun, balanced and actually took skill to play your rank actually meant something back then but now its just how long you have played the game.

Halo 2-3 Was Halo at its Strongest

Halo Wars was a Joke to me so that didnt really put the Halo Credability down

Halo 3: ODST Weakened the Series but that wasnt the Game Changer

Halo Had To Evolve Sometime after being the same original franchise for 10 years its ok for change, everyone please realize your putting down a game by some of the things you've seen. it doesnt come out for another 3 months, many things can happen in 3 months.

You should give a game a chance before you hate on it. You people are Halo fans right? well then lets see some support. 343 is trying new things, and truthfully they will probably Spark the series up again. Many of you havent realized that Bungie and 343i Are VERY Communitie Orientated. I have seen things i have liked and i have seen things i havent liked but i am giving it a chance. We have another 2 games after this. Halo is not dying, it is reincarnating into something bigger then it always was.

Please Everyone, Give the game a chance.

i understand your reasoning but the gameplay to me look like theyre going back to the basics of halo. i want to give 343 a chance cuz its filled with "true" fan of halo as they put it.

I really hope it turns out more like Halo 3.. Reach was a total disappointment.
