Dazzles DO come with editing software, they come with Pinnacle Studio, which is the only recording software that I know of that can record it.
If it didn't come with your Dazzle, hit up Pinnacle Systems and tell them that they ripped you off, and you demand a replacement.

The only free editing software that is decent is Windows Movie Maker, but it's still horrible compared to the good programs. There are YouTube tutorials on how to get Sony Vegas and other good programs for free, it might be a good idea to search. You never know, maybe Vegas's record function will work with a Dazzle.
