First of all, I want to say... I know this has been made, in a youtube video... But im going to show it in steps, via screenshots.

How to make your text flash in photoshop...

Step1: Create Text, and have your Animation open and ready... If you don't no how, go to Window>>Animation, and you'll see a bar that pops up, or should...

Step2: Now on the Animation bar, look down to where you say a trash can symbol... Click that duplication button as many times as you want, So lets just say I want my text to flash Red, Pink, and Yellow, That means im going to create 3 Animation frames. Once you've done this you should see 3 Animation box's in your Animation section...

Step3: You're first box is already done, as what we are aiming for is the text to Flash Red, Pink and Yellow... So now click the 2nd Animation frame, in your Animation box. Head on over to your layer, ( Mines called Zach ) , and right click and scroll up till you see Blending Options.

Step4: Now Click Blending Options, Look down on the right of the sidebar, until you see Color Overplay, check it and click it, Change the colour to your perfered colour, Mine is going to be Pink...

Step5: Now you've relised its Pink, and on the animation bar the third box is still red, repeat this progress to make the third box Yellow... If you want it to continue to go Red, Pink, Yellow, Red, Pink, Yellow... you'll need to select the *Forever* button... Go to the very bottom left of the Animation box... and click the tab, you have options of 3 times only, once, and forever... Click forever, or whatever you perfer. Also, with the Animation frames, youll see a tab on the bottom right of each one, saying either 0 seconds, 0.1 seconds or so on, Thats the speed you want it to flash... I strongly recommed 0.1 seconds, but thats just me.

The red box, shows the indication of where to select the seconds between frames, and the Pink box shows the indication of where to select the Forever option so it continues, or what fits your picture best.

Once you've completed your making... Go to file, Save for web devices, and make sure its a GIF file, save it and there you have your picture...

If you want to upload it to a site, so you have a link or so, I suggest photobucket...

I want you to all know, that im not doing this for the sake of a *Sticky* which I do not think this will be a sticky, Im just doing this to help the ones who'd perfer step by step instructions on how to make your Text flash different colours, heres my final product at the end of the day:

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, feel free to give it a thanks!
