Right now I have an i5-2500K OC'ed to 4.5 GHz. I am wondering if I should upgrade to the 2600K because I do a TON of stuff for Youtube, and video editing/rendering is a daily thing. Don't get me wrong the 2500K is wonderful, but I am wondering if the 2600K would benefit me more, as the price has dropped by about $30 on Newegg. Is it worth it though?

I'd stick with the 2500K. 4.5GHz is more than enough lol.

Thats just my desicion though, in the end its all up to you.

Its a really tough decision, lol. I am just not really sure what to do. I want it, but then again, I don't know how much of a performance boost it would give me. So I don't know if it is worth it. Bleckk...

No, the change you will notice won't be huge.

Not even in rendering or multi-tasking?

See for yourself. You would not notice the difference. A highly overclocked 2500k will last you for a long while.

True, but my 2500K isn't overclocked that high.

Assuming you're running on air and not a true water-cooling loop with a decent block, 4.5ghz is a respectable overclock.
