Before I get into the question, I would like to apologize for the three following issues:

1) If this thread/topic should have been posted elsewhere (ie. Xbox Support, etc.)

2) Not being extremely thorough with the "Search Forums" toolbar... I tried my best with many different search terms and criteria and couldn't find an answer to my issue, thus the reason I'm posting this thread

3) Possibly being too descriptive/long with my question below. I just like to get all the info out there the first time, so there's no missing information

My question: I just recently purchased Need For Speed Shift from the Xbox Live Marketplace, it was about $19.99 and have been suffering with a faulty disk drive for a long time, thus why I am forced to buy/download games directly to the HDD, but that's all besides the point. Anyways, I'm really enjoying the game, and my friend wants to finally figure out how to go about trading downloaded content (ex. NFS Shift, and he has a few Arcade games I would like)... Is it possible to trade full games such as Need For Speed Shift? If so, when the game has finished downloading and he's back at home playing the game, will both him and I still be able to be logged into Xbox Live through our separate accounts at separate locations (his house and my house) and be able to play the same game?

I read elsewhere about "License Transfer" tools or even doing License Transfers on Xbox.com, but I don't know if this is what I need to do in order for him to be able to download the full game and be able to play it as if he originally paid for it through the XBL Game Marketplace. If this is all possible, can someone just be kind enough to either write a decently informative description on how to go about doing it, or direct me to a forum or previous thread/topic that has already explained it all that I may have missed?

No, it works with every content you have bought, and you and your friend should be able to play simultaneously as long as he has the license.

License transfers are for when you choose to move your downloadable games/content to a new console, due to a non-functioning console, or new purchase. Your downloadable content license, which allows you to play what you have paid for, is forever tied to your account. You cannot transfer ownership. You can however, allow your content to be played by your friends gamertag account, as long as your profile is also on the console. License Transfers are limited to once every 4 months, so only do this if this is a permanent move. Transferring ownership is not only impossible, it is illegal.

Fail leech is fail.

It'll work for everything and is also a console ban when you're caught. The tool is for transferring content between consoles YOU own, not your friends or people on the internet.

Abusing that is marketplace theft.
