Get a skeleton to kill a creeper and he will drop one.
This is what i do.
1. Get a diamond sword.
2. Hit a creeper twice with it.
3. get a skeleton.
4. line up the shot and the skeleton will only have to shoot it twice to kill it.

I do this on the PC version of Minecraft, not sure if creepers have more/less health on xbox.

You have to get a skeleton to kill a creeper. :O

It's tricky.
