Can anyone tell me if my Xbox is broken and if so is there anyway to fix it.
When I put a disc into my Xbox its makes no sound but I can hear the disc spinning after about 30 seconds of the disc spinning it says open tray.
A few weeks ago this happened and I just re-plugged all the leads and it worked but it didn't work this time :/ Any advice?

The laser is out of place. Gently move it back a tad bit. If it's not the laser, then your Disc Drive has "Open Tray" error.

open you drive and have a look if the laser is out of place and move back (like he said) ^^

or try cleaning your laser with a cotton bud and some pure alcohol

or if not you need a new drive pal

turn the screw on your laser 90 degrees clockwise

and then reset your laser.

to reset your laser unplug the wires of disc drive [you will get red ring]

when you get rrod just put wires back and restart
