I just updated Xell to Xell reloaded. When I try to load the emulator it stops after:
USB bus 1 device 2: vendor 045E product 0291 class FF: Xbox 360 Controller attached controller 0

I followed everything in the tutorial, i even reformatted my USB to FAT32.
Anyone help quick ill +rep

First off, this is a very simple emulator to install. This tutorial is fairly straightforward. I wanted to post this in the Xbox Modding section, but I'm not allowed, so I'm submitting it as a tutorial instead. I searched the site, and haven't seen a link or tutorial for installing this.

What you'll need:
-JTAG
-USB Flash Drive (doesn't need to have a lot of space)
-Mupen64 v0.96 (download)
-ROMs (These are emulator games. Personally, I use doperoms.com. Some people don't trust certain ROM sites for some reason, so you can always just google the game name with "ROM" after it, and find a download source you trust.)

1. Simply download the Mupen64 emulator from above, and extract the archive to the root of your USB stick. You may want to remove updates and .bin files from your USB, or put them in a folder, as you'll be booting from XeLL. I ended up re-updating my Xbox by accident.

2. Download a ROM file of your choice, and extract the file anywhere on your flash drive. I just put it in the Mupen64 folder. The ROM can come in different extensions. Mupen64 supports most, if not all of them. For instance, my Ocarina of Time ROM is a ".z64" file.

3. After all this is in place, just plug your USB into your turned off console, and press the "Eject" button to boot into XeLL.
You may see a message in XeLL signifying that the files are detected. It should automatically open to a screen that looks something like this.

The top left is where you browse your USB for ROMs, and you can view your Savegames. On the right, there's a small menu. In this menu, you can view the control layout, enable/disable texture enhancement, change the CPU core, enable/disable framerate limiting, and power down/reboot your Xbox. I recommend enabling texture enhancement as it looks- well - enhanced, and keeping framerate limiting on. If it's off, your game may go faster, as if it's being fast-forwarded. If it's a slow game, and you want it to be faster, feel free to disable it. As for the "CPU Core" option, I don't know exactly what that affects, so I just leave it be.

4. To play your game, simply find your ROM in the menu on the top left, and hit "A". You should see a green loading bar and your game should start.

Since it's an emulator, all ROMs have small graphical and audio errors. You may notice missing textures, slow pause menu loading, and audio clipping, but nothing that impacts anything important.

Is the .elf file located in the root of your hard drive/usb drive whatever you are using? I have an issue every now and then where it will stop after detecting my hard drive saying something then "we'll assume it's fat." I restart the xbox and it works after.

Maybe make sure you have a controller synced to the 360 also, I doubt that makes a difference but I always have mine synced up and on before it hits that step.
