If you want to duplicate, all you need to do is clear your system cache, which will get rid of the update, then you can duplicate just as you would before the patch.

Text tutorial on how to clear cache:

1.Navigate to System Settings -> Memory on your Xbox360.
2.Hover over whatever device the minecraft update is saved to, probably your hard drive.
3. Press Y, and then go to clear system cache.
4. It will say "Performing Maintentance" for a few seconds, then finish.
5. Now your cache is cleared, and all the patches/updates for your games are gone.

Then, after you have cleared your system cache, start minecraft.
It will ask you to update, just hit cancel, and you'll be signed out of Xbox LIVE but still able to play.

Do the duplication glitch and duplicate whatever items you need.

Interesting note: You know the duplicated blocks you get out of the dispenser, that are infinite? If you have any of those left over from pre-patch, they should still work.

When you load this save, you'll most likely be in the middle of the desert, at spawn. Follow the flaming pillars southwest until you see a road of gold blocks and a big blue pyramid. Follow the road, and do what each sign says because they're instructions for achievements.

For Leader of The Pack, just find one wolf. Save, give it a bone, exit without saving, load, repeat. Do it five times for the achievement.

For When Pigs Fly, you are provided a saddle but need to find a pig on your own.
