So i was just on my iPhone and noticed i needed an App update in the app store so i go ahead and see that it was an update for My Xbox LIVE (Microsoft's Xbox Live App)
So after downloading it and reading the description for the update it told info that reminded me about Smartglass announced at E3.
Once it downloaded i started up the app and it brought me to a screen showing all the New features. I wanted to test out the new feature of being able to start Games, Apps, Movies on my console with my iPhone but it showed how i had to enable Xbox Companion on my console 1st. So i went on to the Xbox dashboard, went over to Settings,System, then Console Settings and surely enough the 2nd to last option was "Xbox Companion".
I enabled it and it's actually pretty cool starting stuff up from your iPhone or iPad (not sure if it works with iPod)
I was just surprised it came out already and definitely wasn't expecting it.
Did anyone know it was being released today?
What do you think about it?

Well right now after you posted this i need to find my iDevice which is in the house somewhere cause i lost it but it is amazing knowing what technology can do today.
