Hey guys today I finished my cnc router which I build from scratch and I thought I would share it with you guys. I started building this machine for making custom pc cases and water cooling blocks and also xbox modding. CNC stands for computer numeric control meaning precise movement wich some are almost impossible to the human hand. Any who if you would like to learn more about cnc google is your friend. Here are pics of my machine which is 4 feet long and 3 feet wide.

These are different type of bits for different cuts and materials and the cnc completely done

This is the router which is a porter cable with 30,000 RPM

And finally is a simple cut which is a Octagon inside an Octagon to test accuracy which is 0.002" of an inch good enough for PCB

it's a big task, but definitely worth it

and the OP is a genuinely helpful person, i made a post in another thread regarding cnc routers and he pointed me in the right direction, even cleared up my mis-preconception about not being able to dump an image into a program to have it translated into gcode!
