Well this is the build I was looking to purchase, any suggestions before I start ordering? Keep in mind my budget was $1350, so feedback or suggestions for parts. I used root_b33r's topic as a guide line.

That's a great build. I as well have a i5 2500k and GTX 570, and it can run any game out right now on Ultra above 40 FPS from my experience. r00t_b33r and his thread are a great resource to go to. A helper in his thread, Generation, helped me with my build.

These SSD(s) ( pick one ). Much more reliable for only $20 more which is well worth it if you ask. Honestly, just stay away from OCZ products in general, well, besides a couple of products.

Hyper 212 has more SA and will achieve cooler temperatures and more room to OC.

If you want something more high end, look at the Noctua NH-D14. Most popular air cooler out there in the price range and has the best fans in the industry. Now, I understand brown may not be a preferred color, but your case does not have a side window making it irrelevant.

Corsair PSU's are the way to go and their AX line is superb, but you can save money buy going with a 750w model since that is way more than enough for GTX 570 ( in the future ) and all the OC potential you can have. The OCZ ZT series is O.K as well.

You can save $40 by going with a MSI Z77 G43 or an ASRock Extreme 4 - both are z77 boards and split into 8x 8x and will offer everything you need. It's stupid to spend more money when you don't need to and won't notice any difference.

Antec cases in general usually have horrid cable management options, if at all. There are better cases in the price range like the 912, Zalman Z9 - a little bit more expensive, R3, Storm Enforcer, 400r, HAF 922, Rosewill Blackhawk.

One qwuick question, do I need a sound card if I want sound. If not, what is the purpose of a sound card?

Your MOBO will come equipped with 5.1/7.1 audio ports that are located on the I/O. You don't need to buy an aftermarket sound card, especially since onboard has came a long way. The point of sound cards ( mainly the higher end ones ) are better sound quality for audiophiles.
