Im flying to Washington D.C. tomorrow and it will be my first time on a plane. Im a little nervous. And also when I go through security, andif i bring my ipad, will i have to take it out of my backpack? were not allowed to check any bags so its kind of hard for me.

It will be fine, and yes just put it in the tray to be safe! Better safe than sorry! You dont want the TSA cavity searching you just because you didn't take your ipad out of your bag

i never fly'd before either but why be nervous i mean it is gonna be awesome isn't it looking out of the little window and the see how small the world is

Ya you will have to take the iPad out because it has metal on it. The ride normally isn't too bad, the take-off is normally smooth and fast, once you are in the air it should be a very smooth ride (unless you're flying in a military plane) you might want to bring gum because your ears will pop eventually, the landing is a little bumpy and reminds me of a roller coaster. You should be fine unless you have a fear of heights and you look out the window.

I'm a frequent flyer.
When you step through security, you usually would need to remove your laptop/ipad from the backpack, and have them both pass through the scanners.
Also, make sure you bring something with you on the plane to pass time. I usually bring a book and my ipod.
You'll be fine.

It'll be fine. If you decide to chicken out, don't shout: "I've planted a bomb somewhere around here! Good luck finding it!" That'll get you in a lot of trouble.
