The HD-PVR has better quality, recording software, and capabilities. If you don't like either of these device I would get the Elgato Game Capture [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

(HDMI only device)

im no where near rich and i got a PVR. so much better than the roxio. an HD dazzle is better than a roxio. hell a s-video cable with a dazzle is better quality
