Ok so autism can affect you on a major degree or a minor one. Minor being they have un-neccesary movements and major being they need an aid for them there whole life. We have 2 autistic kids in my school. Each one has an aid with them, but they are very inteligent. They easily can communicate with others. They know whats going on around them and what to answer to questions, however there brain is making it difficult. It is not there fault. Everyone gets bullied, and gets put down. Autism kids already have enouph weight on there sholders and they dont need anymore. As much as its sick, we all at once lauphed at a kid with a disorder or tried to be funny. Yes, it is wrong to do this. Just to let you know, many autistic kids do live and have a family and have kids. So what, they drive a smaller bus. Everyone is different.

Vindictivemojo wrote I think its terrible how people make fun of special needs kids. My younger brother is autistic and people at school are mean to him alot. they make fun of him and he gets mad and hits them and he gets in trouble for it. they were going to expell him and not do anything to the other kids... I go to this thing called buddy baseball every wednesday and its for special needs kids who play baseball with a "buddy" (i am my younger bros buddy). i see these kids and i just think to myself "how can people be mean to these innocent kids". its terrible. not only that but sometimes i hear people telling other people they "belong" in special ed because they do something ebarrasing or make a dumb mistake. i dont know if its just me or if you guys too think this is wrong?
I only know 1 disabled person and he's only deaf but the thing is his parents let him believe he has personality defects and he goes along with it EVEN THOUGH he's only deaf. So yes I partly agree with you.

mrgrowl wrote Kids get bullied, it's apart of growing up. In fact, people get bullied at any age. I think it's funny how people want "equality" for everyone, but just because your brother is special needs, he deserved to be treated differently? Would you rather have me threat him like a baby and act like he can't even take care of himself? Kids, even adults, are going to seek out the weakest target and try to hurt it, that's just nature. Instead of getting mad at people for "bullying a special needs", get mad at them for "bullying anyone". Your brother deserves to be treated like anyone else, that includes that bad things in life. If you don't like how he's treated, the send him to a "special" school with "special" teachers and other "special" students and see how "normal" he feels then.
True, true, true. I agree with your aspect.
