Vindictivemojo wrote I think its terrible how people make fun of special needs kids. My younger brother is autistic and people at school are mean to him alot. they make fun of him and he gets mad and hits them and he gets in trouble for it. they were going to expell him and not do anything to the other kids... I go to this thing called buddy baseball every wednesday and its for special needs kids who play baseball with a "buddy" (i am my younger bros buddy). i see these kids and i just think to myself "how can people be mean to these innocent kids". its terrible. not only that but sometimes i hear people telling other people they "belong" in special ed because they do something ebarrasing or make a dumb mistake. i dont know if its just me or if you guys too think this is wrong?
this no need for them to live

um.... what?

Making fun of anyone is wrong, not just those with special needs.

I do agree that physically picking on them and teasing them is dead wrong. But liek others have stated, Once and a while they will do funny things. And you will crack up. Like once i was going to the bathroom in school and there was a boy with schizophrenia in there also. And he was talking to himself like usual, But then he turned from the urinal and started peeing everywhere. I couldn't help but laugh at that. But i agree. People shouldnt really pick on them.

That's some bs. Lemme guess, people make fun of you because you have to prick yourself with a needle? I have plenty of friends with diabetes. They get it too, It sucks. Thats something also, people who made fun of for diseases... They cant help it. Lay off'em

mrgrowl wrote Kids get bullied, it's apart of growing up. In fact, people get bullied at any age. I think it's funny how people want "equality" for everyone, but just because your brother is special needs, he deserved to be treated differently? Would you rather have me threat him like a baby and act like he can't even take care of himself? Kids, even adults, are going to seek out the weakest target and try to hurt it, that's just nature. Instead of getting mad at people for "bullying a special needs", get mad at them for "bullying anyone". Your brother deserves to be treated like anyone else, that includes that bad things in life. If you don't like how he's treated, the send him to a "special" school with "special" teachers and other "special" students and see how "normal" he feels then.

I agree 100% with you bro
