im pretty sure i did not say anything about them being equal. i said they should be treated BETTER because they need more help then other people

My mistake then.

If only people would keep their hateful opinion to themselves (Yes I'm a hypocrite) then the world would be so much better but living in a illusion.

mrgrowlHD wrote Kids get bullied, it's apart of growing up. In fact, people get bullied at any age. I think it's funny how people want "equality" for everyone, but just because your brother is special needs, he deserved to be treated differently? Would you rather have me threat him like a baby and act like he can't even take care of himself? Kids, even adults, are going to seek out the weakest target and try to hurt it, that's just nature. Instead of getting mad at people for "bullying a special needs", get mad at them for "bullying anyone". Your brother deserves to be treated like anyone else, that includes that bad things in life. If you don't like how he's treated, the send him to a "special" school with "special" teachers and other "special" students and see how "normal" he feels then.

i am not saying they need to be treated like a baby. all i am saying is that they shouldnt be bullied or laughed at. do you think its fair that people who are mentally at a lower level than you, should be made fun of. half of them dont know what to do to them when they are laughed at but cry. most of them are defenseless and they shouldnt need to be isolated in "special schools" if u think people who are born the way they are should be made fun of then you should be the one going to a "special" school so that you could be educated in a way where you would understand people who have disabilities should not be treated in such a way.

Wow, I think I need to go to a special school after I lost my brain cells trying to understand your post with all the grammar errors. I have a different view then a lot of people, but i'm not going to put a "retard" (as they are called in normal society) on a pedestal. They WILL be harassed throughout life, no matter how they learn in school. At this point you probably think i'm a very mean person, and i'll try to change that now. I mean what i say in the nicest way possible. These special needs people are going to be treated differently all their life. And they can't have a handler with them when they get older. I feel sorry for your brother, but some things just have to be like that. Nobody said life was fair, especially with kids, they are cruel.
