One of my Xenon Jtags keeps getting a E79 error on boot up and its getting kind of annoying, I was doing a little research and found this,,,http://www.thetechgame.org/products/xecuter-xenon-jtag-kit-e79.html and i was just wondering if someone could explain the e79 code to me and if they knew what actually causes it.
Thank You for any helpful info.

that kit wont do you any good, its basically just the same as using 3x 330ohm resistors wiring. Instead of using 2x diodes.

E79 is generally a wiring issue, wither your wire is loose or in the wrong way, Could also be the way you positioned your diode.

To rule out wiring post a picture of your install, in most cases it can be fixed by just resoldering your wire or changing out a bad diode

yes thats what i used to be able to do but, i was changing patches and it froze while in xex menu 1.2 and now it won't boot. It'll just turn on a sit there. its very annoying. Btw this was my first jtag to ever build to its very old and pretty sloppy but i just replaced all the boot wires and switching diodes and still having the same problem
