Hello Ttg im here just to make sure that what im doing should work basically i want to update my Jailbroke(Redsn0w) Ipod to 5.1 and i also want to keep most of my jailbroke files( i want to jailbreak again when it hits 5.1)so what im doing is downloading a cydia app called aptbackup (keeps jailbroke ipod backed up) and then i am going to restore it to factory defualt leaving it empty i will then update my ipod to 5.1 and use the backup i made of my ipod in 4.5 (what its in now) to keep all my photos etc.
But what im wondering is that will that downgrade me from 5.1 to 4.5?
If all goes well i will jailbreak untethered with redsn0w 5.1 and download aptbackup and get all my jailbroke apps back etc
