Hey guys,

So, I'm building my own PC and I'm doing an external build to test out my parts. I have everything plugged in and when I wait for the beep, I get 7 of them; 1 really short beep, 1 long beep, and 5 semi long beeps. What does this mean?

At the moment I have no key board connected and when I look on the monitor, it says "No keyboard connected" "CPU fan error" and then it says to press F2 to continue. Do the beeps have to do with the keyboard and fan?

One last thing, the fan for my CPU is working just fine but it still says their is an error with it.

Thanks for reading.

This happened to me once, this may stupid but did you plug in your CPU power?

(If you do try unplugging your CPU fan connector and blowing on it then plug it back in)
