hey there everyone i live in glasgow scotland and have 10mb internet with no phone line with virgin media at 21 a month from last november now last month my bill increased randomly and when i phoned virgin it was due to a national price increase so ok i had phoned within 7 seven days of the change and was able to cancel and was offered a better deal at $20.50 for the exact same service i agreed and happily awaited my new contract from virgin. A week went by and nothing i phoned again and was told it was a technical error i should have it within 3 days ok again i waited 5 days still no contract i phoned again ohhh guess what a technical error and another one was to be with me within 5 days, by this point i'm getting p****d off and again it never came the next phone call i had was with some aragant woman who told me i dont need a contract well i do i have to sign it for the agreement, in turn she told me her manager would personally post it out and that it might have been my postal service. a week goes by Still no contract i phoned to day and i get someone who helped me by telling me that there has never been a contract sent from virgin and that he had all the info from the last calls, this man found the problem to be it had an error thinking it was some other contract or something and he stated he would have to renew the contract i said well is there any way of a free upgrade due to the poor customer support
well i nearly s**t myself when he offered me 60mb for 22.50 for 2 years
hell yeah i said

Im Running with Virgin ATM but it seems to be slow which i dont like. You ever had this?

Yeah my internet's gone really slow lately there giving everyone a free upgrade, But probably just making are currant internet slower so the update seems sh!t loads faster :/

Yeah my internet's gone really slow lately there giving everyone a free upgrade, But probably just making are currant internet slower so the update seems sh!t loads faster :/

they are in my area doubling speed and i have full 10mb untill the engineer is out next week to install the new line for my 60meg the only thing i have noticed is that there are random disconnects from xbox live

Yeah i'm currently on 60mb and its kinda slow thinking on going to BT with the new fibre optic 2

what like is the range on the super-hub as the walls in my flat are very thick and my xbox controller diconects if i leave the room my xbox is in

Nice one, im with bt and have the bt infinity 2 which is like 60mb download and 20mb upload

You should have tried to get the 100mb. That would be crazy fast.

I'm out in the countryside and still running good on 8mb...
