Here's what I'd do.

-Buy a nice house ($300,000)
-Buy a nice car ($30,000)
-Buy things I've always wanted; clothes, TV, furniture, etc ($50,000)
-Keep about $200,000 - $300,000 to pay for expenses throughout my life
-The rest I'd spend on what I need in the moment. It would most likely go with the money for lifetime expenses.

I would buy a r34 gtr skyline.
And a present for my beautifl girlfriend.

Set up all the rooms (~100,000)
Buy a 125cc Motocross bike (~2,000)
Go on holiday with family somewhere where I can relax in the sun and its nice and peaceful for a month or so (~20,000)
The rest put in the bank to buy whatever I want if I really wanted it (And to save it and get a small bit of interest)
