How to safely use Paypal.

After a few personal experiences and a couple of stories I have compiled a few rules to go by to prevent being ripped off when using Paypal.

When Paying as a invoice.
~When you pay as a invoice your seller is most likely going to be legit.
-Why is that?
...When you send a invoice, Paypal provides the buyer with all the contact information for the seller, making it nearly impossible to rip someone off and get away with it. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

When Paying as a Gift.
~Paying as a gift is very risky, and I don't recommend ever doing it, but since I know some people will fall under a scammers trap, i will tell you how you can get your money back almost every time.
-Paying as a gift is a last resort, and I would only do it for trusted sellers.
...When you pay as a gift put something along these lines in the notes:

"This money is payment for a intangible product, and by accepting this money you are agreeing to send me the product after receiving the money. If you fail to provide the information to confirm the product has been sent, I am at liberty to file a dispute on this gift of money."

^When you file the complaint, make sure you say something like "I let my younger brother use my Paypal and someone tricked him into paying via Gift"

>Although this may work most of the time I don't recommend going around paying for everything as a gift.(estimated refund time:2 weeks max.)

When Paying as Goods:
This is the most common way to send your money and is pretty safe, If you are getting scammed all you have to do is file a report and if the seller does not provide either a Tracking# or a Refund you get your money back within a few weeks.

If you have any questions please contact me via PM I will usually respond within 12 hrs.

If you feel like I left out anything please feel free to reply with the additions and I will add them as well as credit to you within 12 hrs.

-When buying online stuff lets say like a website designer or a service over the internet send as a service cause some people get ripped off and do something for somebody then they file dispute and you cant provide a tracking because you did something virtually for them.

Nice guide.. But Paypal Overall is just s***.

Also, I'd say a scammers number one choice is sending as goods.. As they can get the money back very easily.. Paying as a gift is always safer.
