Okay to start off, this is NOT a flame topic and I'm NOT a fanboy. I honestly hate the recently made CoDs. So here we go.
1.) Some of the complaints I've seen and heard is that it doesn't look too fancy and the futuristic seems lame. Well people, considering it's call of duty, if it was set in the year 3050 or whatever, how many of you would complain that the futuristic weapons are over powered? 99% of you. All i hear about MW3 is the fact that there is a bunch of OP and imbalanced mechanics. I personally think this would be a perfect time set for everyone.
2.) Also goes with the fact that it's futuristic. I'm pretty damn sure nearly everyone on this site can agree with me when i say CoD has been too repetitive and getting old. Making the time set in the late 2020's, (which is said it's set a littler more than a decade from now.) would make the weapon balancing to a good point where there's still regular bullet used ARs and MGs, etc.
Those are basically my two main points. I'll be looking for other people's complaints about the game. AGAIN I'm not flaming. This is just a consideration. All I EVER hear is complaints about it being the SAME CoD, too repetitive, boring, etc. It looks like a mix between MW3 and BF 3. Well give it a try. If it sucks, it sucks. I'm not saying it won't. But this is a nice change up and i think everyone enjoys some good new zombie maps and an awesome campaign. So enjoy what you can.
Please don't flame, complain about what I'm saying. Constructive thinking only. Any ideas if you agree with me please PM me your thoughts and opinions.

I feel bad for the developers, they either hear complaints that they dont change enough or they change way too much. CoD seems to be dying, and I think that the futuristic warfare seems to be a good way to attempt to save the franchise. I really hope, for the sake of CoD, that it is not a flop and is a really great game. I believe that if it fails, CoD as we know it will end anyway, so why not let the devs show their creativity and try to reinvent and repair CoD's image as the best FPS out there like it was in the CoD4 days.
I cant wait to get it and see how they decided to go with things, I believe that it has great potential to be a good game.

I don't necessarily think it's dying, people are just realizing that it's getting too repetitive. BOPS2 will get even more sales than MW3. BOPS1 won the award for best campaign and #1 for best ending. Not to mention Nazi Zombies will be even bigger. Even though most people will only buy the game for that, i do agree with you, I hope it saves it. CoD is getting kind of old, but there's so much stuff that they could do to save it. It's an amazing franchise all around, no matter what any squeaker, flamer, or leecher says. I personally don't like BF3, but even I have to admit it's a good game. There's a difference between a game you like and a good game.

what i dont get is all these kids are mad that its the same every year well now its not so shut up also dont fix what isnt broken look at the cod series every year breakes sales so why would they change it. all of you guys who dont like it leave us fans dont want it to end up like bf or halo or ghost recon. we want CALL OF DUTY

It IS broken, though. It's the same game every year with a different story line, different time, and change of graphics. This is a HUGE change up. AKA Good thing.
