It is really sad to hear about another story of a pitbull attack.

But I must say, not all pitbulls are bad. And I say that from experience. No, I don't own a pitbull so I'm not going to say "NUH UH I HAVE A PITBULL IT IS SO NICE TO ME !" A few months ago my parents found a pitbull right outside of our house, it was a few years old i think. They let it in the house and put it in our garage. When I got home I was actually terrified, because of all the propaganda of pitbulls by the media. The dog was actually playful, and almost seemed happy someone found her. Anyways, we kept her at our house overnight (had no tags on her), and we had no problems. Took care of her like she was our own dog, and she liked it! But, somehow the owner found out and came to pick her up, I guess someone called animal control or something. So, that just goes to show you not all of them are bad.

tl;dr not all pitbulls are bad

p.s. we have another female dog (german sh., rot. mix) and we kept her in the basement in entire time the pitbull was staying with us, for obvious reasons.

its not the dog itself, its the owners not treating them right and cant control them.

Yet again, we see a pit bull attack. Not surprising though. They are a vicious breed through & through. Bred to kill, and are to barbaric to have anymore. Fair enough in the past, so hunt with, but we have technology now.

Again, this attack (like most pitbull attacks) was totally unprovoked. Luckily the girl didn't die.

No one should own a dog for a "pet" that, if he gets loose, will attack and kill the first person or dog he comes across. Pit bulls have been selectively bred to do just that.

Of course there will, as usual, be the people who defend the pit bulls. The ones who don't care that a little girl nearly died, they just get upset at pitbulls getting a bad name & defend them. "Ohh it's the owners fault!" "Oh he was provoked!" "My pitbull is harmless"

No idea why we haven't killed all pitbulls yet.

It was the owner's fault, pitbulls are just like any other breed, their not any more barbaric than anyother dog.

If you read the story it says the dog was barking at the door, which EVERY dog does atleast once in their life.

The girl screamed and the dog got out because the door was open, so it was obviously the owners fault, and before you say ' Then why did the dog attack the girl?'

Why the **** do you think it was barking? to let off some steam?

My dog barks at everything, and it has gotten out and bitten people.
My dog isn't a pitbull, its a small little dog, it looks like I Shih-Tzu.
Now do people want to go and call animal control on a 3 lb dog that can;t even draw blood?

Nope

So please, dont go and give pitbulls a bad name, like a said before, ANY DOG can decide to snap and go into predator mode.
