So I just got new internet and my ping is 18ms, download speed is 19.12mbps, and upload speed is 3.69mbps and my xbox has a moderate NAT type. Whenever my xbox is connected my download speed drops down to 3mbps. Does it drop because of my moderate NAT type?

nope nat type has nothing to do with download speeds, its because you split the download connection with the xbox

I thought so because download speed is local area. But is there anyway to fix this? because I feel my internet is going to be bad at 3mbps.

if you want it open, you could just portforward / put xbox in a dmz. if that doesn't work then it's your isp/router/modem.
